I have used both the cream and powder and they both work great! So I alternate them. No other brand works like fixodent

I think it is less messy

I like fixodent powder the best bc it has the best grip the longest but my only complai t is a brand new bottle is already half empty! That's bull!

It works great however....

I used to get 2 months out of a $7.50 container then I read the directions and get almost 5 months out of 1 bottle. Top dentures only

Works great

The Fixodent Powder works great for my upper denture. It stays all day until bedtime. My issue with it that I can't get it to come out of the container evenly. It doesn't shake out or squirt out so I doesn't go on as evenly as it should. There should be a fix for this.

Every morning use a pin to unclog the tip then pry off the top to breakup the solids in the bottle. Can't believe it is so bad. Brand new bottle from Walgreen 3 days ago.

Solidified and clogged

My husband has been using the extra hold powder for a few years it was recommended by the dentist who made his dentures however that dentist has now retired so the first time he saw the new dentist and hygienist she spent a long time trying to get the build-up off of his dentures from the powder.  Can you tell me a good way or what the issue might be as to the buildup the dentists office who made them never said anything about the buildup and my husband noticed it but thought it was just part of the dentures but the new hygienist said no it was part of the powder and now his dentures need to be relined and somehow the powder buildup needs to be removed.  please advise

When you have to spend seven dollars you really don’t have extra on something but doesn’t really work it really sucks now I have to go and find something completely different because I was told this was the best but it’s not they keep coming off all the time

I don’t like it!

This product container needs some help.  I always have trouble, lately, with the powder not coming out, like the hole isn't quite large enough.  Very frustrating.

This product works for me well.

This product works great for me. I use it with the fixodent ultra and some listirine sprayed on them. Holds all day and night if I want them to . I can eat anything I want( have not tried corn on the cob yet).

Fixadent Powder absolutely sucks. I&#39;ve tried to use this product several times &amp; it&#39;s always the same results. I waited at least a hour after using the powder to eat or drink, hoping it would help to seal my dentures better, but it&#39;s useless. Half way through eating a muffin, my bottom denture came completely loose &amp; my top denture fell down. Every single time I eat or drink something. Poligrip Powder is definitely the way to go. Fixadent Powder slogan should be Forget Fixadent.

Extremely Disappointing

I cannot extol the beauties of this product enough; it keeps dentures in place wonderfully, and without the unpleasant goo globs you get from pastes. When I first got my dentures I tried paste too (My dentist recommended THIS product) and there is no comparison between this and paste. My only gripe is that it&#39;s a little hard to find in my area and I live in the city.

This is the best product out there!

I have had full dentures for nearly 20 years. I have tried every paste on the market, nothing holds my dentures as well as your Fixodent Extra Hold Powder. While I sometimes have to reapply on my lowers, the upper plate will usually stay put for a day or more in emergency cases. I have to use more than your illustrations show but it works better and when nothing else does. It is getting difficult to find the powder in my area. I have been concerned that you may be stopping production.

I found out that if you combine the glue and powder your dentures don't move so you don't clack and you can eat more foods than you can with just glue please do not discontinue it

Holds your teeth

the fixodent ultra,the tube here purple,but it says ultra strength strong or something, I have been using it for about a year and a half with full upper- lower, Please stop watering it down and put the grain back in it, Marketing tactics suck!

I would recommend it, but

I like the taste of the powder over the nasty creams, I've had my my dentures shaved so many times and I was really hopeful this time. It stuck until I started eating. Any hints on a good fit?? Even just through a meal.

doesn't hold up to it's hype

I've had tops since I was 19 yrs old. Started out with a partial and the wires become loose & your gums change and I found Fixodent! Even when went to Full Dent I stuck with Fixodent. I refer it to everyone. We even started using it for our Elderly Mother who is incapacitated.

Nothing better, best product, hands down. Great price, great hold, easy to use, I won't use anything else now.

I love it!!!!

I have to reglue my bottom dentures at least 3 times during a meal. I have tried all brands of adeasive & although Fixident is my fav, it doesn't hold my teeth in! Someone told me I need to get my gums trimmed to have an even surface for them to stick to. What is your advice?

Having problems

When I first started with my partials about 20 years ago I used the gummy glue and used it again before every meal and in between. One day I accidentally bought the powder and it was the best accident ever. My teeth stay secure all day and sometimes all night too. I never have to re-secure my teeth throughout the day since I have been using the powder.

I won't use anything but extra hold powder

After my previous adhesive went out of business, I found Fixodent and have been very satisfied with the powder ever since. Please don't stop making the powder. I despise the feeling of the cream in my mouth

i clean my dentures throughly, then apply the powder. it will hold for 24 hrs. my only complaint is you folks never issue a coupon for the powder.........please. thanks, jlh.

holds better than anything else

according to your hype --- It lasts from dawn to dusk ------- applied it at 8:00AM and by 1:00PM in the afternoon the upper denture was falling down everytime I tried to talk --- this was not a one time trial --- I have had the same results everytime that I have tried Fixodent Extra Hold Powder ....

the worst adhesion

I love this Powder! Im a singer and it last for at least 9hrs.! Would you please have coupons for this product, not just the gel!!!!!??????

Better than the rest

I got the upper denture about ten years ago. I had no luck with strip or wafer products. The plus about the denture powder is the you control how much and where the powder in on the denture. I lightly coat the entire underside - It holds tightly and securely all day. Because of the wash-out factor with the lower denture I do not use the powder - I use the Fixodent denture adhesive for the lower denture.

Superior product for upper denture -

I have tried all different kinds of adhesives with my dentures and the one u like the most is the Fixodent extra hold powder. The powder doesn't make a mess and when your ready to take the dentures out it is easy without leaving anything on your gums. The only thing u wish is that you would give coupons on the powder we only get the other not the powder.

Product is the best

I have been using fixodent super hold powder since i got my dentures in 1999 i will not ever use anything else it holds 1 day i can eat candy apples corn on the cob anything i want and they still hold i tell everyone that if you want a good hold to use fixodent thanks for the fixodent.

This is the best products i have found.

I have loss of bone and flat gums so my dentures are hard to fit and I tried everything and I keep going back to the power which I love I also use a little fixodent paste to help hold, on my bottoms I do the same thing is very comfortable. I do have to reply if I eat a lot that is only due to my bone and gums. But if I just drink coke, water or coffee a lot I'm just fine.
