Fixodent Ultra Max Hold Denture Adhesive Cream

I am a pastor and I do a lot of talking and speaking on a daily basis. I've tried two different options before this one. I am Pleased with this product. Once I figured out how much works for me, I put it on and hold it in my mouth tight without moving it for a few minutes and I'm good for the Whole day.

Applied fixodent ultra to my dentures to find it stained my teeth bright pink and have scrubbed and soaked for 2 days and have only just managed to notice a difference with them returning to there normal colour

This product stains your dentures

I searched all over the world for better products that stay strong all day and that i can eat and drink hot tea and coffee without I need to let it stick all day. Yes, when i don't eat or drink all day, it will stick all day. But that is not what it promise. I tried and bought all Fixodent, and Fitty also, not one could even stay for 2 hours after my breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or just in between a coffee with cake. Twelve years ago it did stick for a whole day, but then they changed the ingredients so we have to use it even 4 times a day. It's a terrible product and even too expensive. It doesn't do what this product promise at all! I cannot even go out a whole day for lunch and dinner with friends cause i have to use it too many times and it is inconvenient to do that every time when youre in a restaurant. :(

Not one of these products do what it promise

I bought this Ultra Max hold adhesive because my father used to use it. I have been using it every day for a month I m VERY disappointed because it doesnt hold my dentures in tight at all and yes I ve tried putting more on the denture but I just end up with a mouth full of oozing adhesive and my dentures slipping when I m speaking or laughing with someone or I m trying to eat.I ve been so embaressed. I think you need to make an even stronger adhesive.

This product isnt what I hoped it would be

Let me start by saying that my bottom dentures don't fit well anymore because of receding gums. That being said, I found Fixodent Ultra Max Hold to be the strongest hold out there so far. It holds my loose dentures in for several hours, which is more than I can say for any other adhesive out there. I've tried just about every one of them. In my situation,  if I spread the adhesive on with a cotton swab and sprinkle on some powder adhesive and let it sit for a couple of minutes, it works wonderfully for me in my case. My upper dentures will stay put and secure for 2 days. Not kidding. I highly recommend this one.

The best out there yet

I bought this product hoping it would keep my dentures in place. For the price of it, it's too thick and dry and gritty. I have to reapply it several times a day and when applying it stops midway through the application.

Love it the best one I have ever used and I’ve tried them all at one point this one holds the best safe and secured can eat whatever I want can laugh and they stay in there place I give it a 5 star review thanks 🙏

I bought the Ultra and was very disappointed. It did not work nearly as well as the regular.

Did not hold well

I have a love-hate relationship with this denture adhesive. My dentures don't fit well at all, but this adhesive holds them in all day and then some, and there is very little ooze. If it does ooze, I just brush the area with a wet toothbrush and it comes right off. This is the part I love. The part I hate is getting it off the roof of my mouth. Very difficult, even after using mouth rinse and Toothpaste. It eventually comes off. I worry because it contains zinc. Why?? Can't you leave that out??

I’ve been using fixodent for over 30 years now.  I’ve never used any other brand my mother used it and that’s how I started using it.

Changes aren't always beneficial to all!

I buy this stuff all the time and I just let it slip me mind and forgot to pick some up. I placed and order of the Fixodent Ultra Max Hold and it came right on time because I had used my last that morning.

Best hold ever

I have lost a lot of weight since my husband passed and at first complained about this product now because I am 5'7'' and weigh 121 lbs. I find this is great. My teeth were made by a specialist I worked for and were great till I started losing weight and now they don't fit at all. Fixodent Ultra is great..

I received this product for my husband and he has had issued with his teeth staying in bc of the taste and feel he gags and has to constantly fight to keep them in. But with this fix fixodent it only requires a small amount and the taste is fresh.he says lol but his teeth stay in all day without falling out no matter what he eats. We will be using this from now on.

Works amazing

My wife and I both have dentures and although we’ve always used Fixodent, my dentures were always a little loose. I was using denture adhesive twice a day so I would keep a good bond. Now that we’ve tried Fixodent Ultra I can honestly say using it in the morning gives me an all day hold. In saying that I am sold on Fixodent Ultra and won’t use nothing else

Good product. Does the job and holds my plate in place without being gummy. Firm hold and I can eat seeded bread without a problem! I usually am really bothered by a lack of hold and a loose plate and glad the Fixodent solves that issue.

I gave this to my dad and he told me he loved it. He wanted me to buy some more of this product. He recommends this product to anyone. I would love to try other products. My dad this this product is good.

I have tried many different adhesive to hold my dentures in place. Fix a dent ultra is hands-down the best adhesive I have found today and I have tried all of them. I use this regularly usually once a day and it holds my dentures in place. I can practically eat anything invite down into anything in the hold is amazing.

I tried the Fixodent Ultra Max Hold as I usually use a different brand and I cant believe how well the hold lasts.  It also keeps the food particles from going in between the plate and gums.  I will definitely switch to Fixodent because it does have a better hold.  I also prefer the gel compared to the paste.  Less mess and strong hold.

The Fixodent Ultra Max Hold is the strongest hold I’ve found in denture adhesive. This worked perfectly for my bottom partial. It sealed tightly and did not allow food to get underneath. Plus the seal lasted the whole day.

After using powder for years, I received  Fixodent Ultra Max Hold to try. I reluctantly tried it because I needed something besides the powder that I have been using. Turned out to be my lucky day! It is easier and less messy than my old trusty powder adhesive! Holds longer and stronger for sure!

Super holding power!

I gave this to my mother in law who has full dentures. She said it definitely held up to its name in her opinion. At night before bed was a little difficult for her to take off but she realized it was because she put too much lol.

Fixodent Max Hold dental adhesive is a game changer for anyone with dentures! It says Max Hold and they mean it! I had no trouble whatsoever with loose dentures plates, slipping or eating with this product.  I have used original Fixodent adhesive for years but now I will be switching Fixodent Max Hold for good!

I have trouble keeping my dentures in and secure.so I switched to fixodent max hold and it holds very secure no more fear of my teeth falling out lol.and didn't have a real bad taste either .easy to store or carry with you when going out to eat

Great strength

I lost my teeth in my forties because of health problems and felt very uneasy about wearing dentures. I tried several different adhesives and this one would last all day with no slips. It is a bit hard to remove from the roof of your mouth but I found that a piece of guaze would get it off. The grip is worth the hassle of getting it off at the end of the day.

Teeth adhesive

I got Fixodent Ultra Max Hold. I liked how strong it held my top plate in place. My only problem is trying not to put too much on. I only use a small dot on the front left side and that is enough to hold my top plate in fine. I have sensitive gums so it hurts to use too much.

New to dentures and partials my friends recommended I try this product. It holds well and doesn’t leave an after taste or change the taste of foods like my friends and family told me it could possibly do.

Great product

Been looking for a better adhesive for my dentures and I have truly found it with this product, Fixodent Ultra. It gives me an all day hold, and isn't gunky like some other deture adhesives. When removing my dentures it removes easily without the icky residue. Definnitely my new go to!

Strong  ALL day hold

I have used Ultra Max Hold for years and it was great. The last double pack I bought is smaller. Why? Just increase price don't put in less product.  We do notice. Also the cream seemed darker and not the same consistency. It doesn't seem to work as well either. It seems to have more of a gooey consistency. Also when I go to clean them at the end of day it is harder to get the goo off. I am using the same box of denture cleaner that I used when the tube changed. I wish you would change back everything you changed.

Disappointed

I have been using this product for about a week new and it has been awesome. Holds all day on top and bottom dentures very and so far no problems with eating or drinking. Have recommended this product to several friends and Clint’s and had great feedback from them also.

Awesome product

This has the best hold of any denture adhesive I have ever tried. I am going to keep buying this as my go-to from now on. The hold is super strong and I honestly can chew a caramel and not have my denture yanked out or loose.

Works great!

I tried the " Fixodent Ultra Max Hold" and There is no doubt about it, this is a super strong hold.  
I got up to go to work, did my routine with teeth, and not thinking anything about the "Ultra MAX Hold" I did the routine lines to hold my plates in.  
I went to work, and I had no problems (nothing went under the plates and stayed firmly in place).  
After a long day I get headaches (from wearing my plates too long), I decided it was time to take them out. 
 I found they weren’t coming out! My mom was a little concerned at first and then busted out laughing because I told her it felt like I was pulling teeth and I can't get them out that they are stuck!   
Finally, they came out and I was surprised it didn't leave any residue or thin layer of film left like the other denture creams (I can't stand that feeling).  
I learned easy does it when applying.  
Now I use 3 dots and 2 dots on top plate and 3 small lines on the bottom.

This is no Joke

My mother and father both love this for their teeth.  My dad has dentures since he was 18 and loves this product.  It is very easy to use and holds the best and is the most trustworthy product for his teeth.

I received this product as a free trial.  This holds my dentures in very well. They didn't move all day, and yet they were very easy to take out. The taste was really awful though. And the residue left behind was a little difficult to remove.

Like the way it holds my teeth in place, does not have a bad taste to it or leave a bad taste in your mouth, it does the job it is suspose to do , sticks to teeth great, will definitely  be using  this product alot

I received this product as a trial before I buy.  I love Fixodent Ultra Max Hold.  It had all day hold and didn't make my dentures fall out when I at or drank something.  This is a product I would definitely recommend and it is my new go to denture adhesive!

Excellent Product!

It just made 4 years that I had a freak accident clearing the road after a bad storm I received a kickback from a tree and lost 4 bottom teeth and 2 top . I had several oral surgeries that were very costly and painful . I wear a bridge instead of implants at the bottom and I feel very confident I will never have an embarrassing moment using max hold Fixodent .It’s basically a miracle in a tube with no strange taste and holds until I want it to. I keep a small tube with me at all times but hardly never needs to be applied while working. I will continue to use Fixodent max while working through my ptsd ,and always respect trees.

Reliable and discreet

I have recently become a denture wearer and wanted to try different products to find the best one. This works amazing and held tight all day. The instructions were easy to follow. Definitely what I will be using from now on.

Outstanding

I have always been a fixodent user. But sometimes throughout the day I would have to add more to make my dentures stay in place. But not with the ultra hold I put it in once and it stays all day. I can't believe that it works so well. I will definitely be recommending this to friends that use dentures as well. You only need a little bit, and it's easy to clean off the dentures. Definitely worth the extra price.

I bought this Fixodent Ultra Max Hold a couple of weeks back and I'm very happy that I did. It's very easy to apply and holds very well for a extended period If you have dentures go with this Fixodent Ultra Max Hold.

This was the only product that worked for me for many years. Now that you guys changed the packaging, the amount (47g-40g), and even the product itself. It doesn't even come close to working the way it used to. I will definitely be shopping around for a new adhesive. Why would you mess with a good thing?

This used to be amazing

I've been using the Fixodent Ultra max hold for a week now.  It works just a tad better than the regular Fixodent that I've been using for years.  No bad tastes, just solid holding power.  I hope I'll be able to find this new Ultra Hold on the store shelves.  I would recommend this to all.

It works better.

I was struggling to find a denture cream that would hold well for me until I tried Fixodent Ultra Max Hold! The taste was not overwhelming or gritty, not watery just thick enough to give a great hold. It held all day and until it was time to go to sleep. Hold great even when eating steak and corn on the cob. Great product in my opinion!

I bought this product cause my dentures are loose and I really needed a all day hold so I tried plenty believe me and the best has been this one for my all day hold , not messy easy to use very affordable and I highly recommend this product.

Fixodent Ultra Max Hold is a awesome product I have use others but they don’t compare to Ultra Max Hold. It holds my partial in place all day without loosing up.  I have a new product to use I will use it from now on.

This is an amazing product.  My 82 year old friend will not use anything else.  He did a lot of trial and error testing on different products and this one was a real keeper.  He went through misery until fixodent came into his life.

Fox ode t Ultra proved to work as advertised! First, the tube is just right for application; use as directed for correct adhesion. No need to reapply during the day, as nothing goes under your plate to interrupt the grip. I ate and drank as usual.  Hot, cold food and drink; ability to chew meats without losing grip.

As a new full set denture wearer, my lower set does not have much to hold on to at all. As a result they come loose easily. This product is the ONLY product that holds like super Glue. This stuff works great

Best of them all

decided to try this on a failing tooth , I wasn't sure what to do until I can make arrangements to see a dentist and afford the expense of dental work .  This product even holds real teeth in place and secures it back into the socket so I dont have to go with a gap from missing a tooth.

This product has great features

I kind of had to go into dentures blind so I've tried a few different products. I've learned that it helps to generously apply the adhesive  and something that helps ensure a 12  hour hold, I usually let the adhesive set for 2 or more hours for food, for drinks, 30-40 minutes should be good and for excess adhesive,  a soft or toddler toothbrush is good. I'm going in soon for my first reline so my dentures have shifted from my gums, I'm curious to see the difference in how much adhesive I'll need after my teeth fit better.

The best I ever used

Wow! This paste holds like no other. I put it on my full set around 10 am, by 8 pm when I’ve had enough of wearing my set, I have to almost     rio my gums off to take them off. I’m about a week in with my teeth so the hold with this ULTRA is like, brick and cement after it set!

Locked In.

This Fixodent Ultra is so disappointing. It does NOT keep dentures in . I tried it and it was a mess. It should go back to the drawing board. Will not hold.

I bot this product because it says it is an all day hold product. I've had to use it B4 each meal, so I'm swallowing a lot of your product.
I had been using a competitors product that was cheaper and it held onto the dentures for a longer time.

I've tried the new Fixodent Ultra. It says it will hold all day but, it does not work for my bottom denture. I followed the directions.. As soon as I start eating, it does not hold.

I recently switched from my regular Fixodent Ultra to the product with Scope.    What a difference.  The product with scope is absolutely worthless.  Chewing gum would offer a better hold.  Tried to return it but they wouldn't allow me to exchange..  Come on Fixodent.  You can do better than that or change your name to Poligrip. Maybe it is time to try Secure instead.  Have read great things.

I was happy to see Fixodent Ultra Max Hold. Denture adhesives for some reason don't work well for me. I've tried powders and foam with no better results. I was really hoping this time to have a product that would work well for me. So totally disappointed. This was the worst I have ever used. It seems to dissolve in a couple hours after application. I need to reapply several times a day.

Fancy label not any better of a product

Fixodent Ultra Max Hold is exactly what it says on the box - a max hold that leaves me without worries. I may consider trying out the new dual power which includes the food seal, but if they're mostly the same then I'm sure it will be just as good.

Perfect for my needs.

I recently tried the Fixodent Ultra Max Hold and am very unhappy with it. The hold is marginally better than the other adhesive creams Fixodent manufacttures, but it seems to be far less long lasting. For myself it takes many more reapplications than the previous products. Also it seems to have a subtle aftertaste that I do not care for.

ultra hold is the worst i have ever used.. within a few minutes of application it has failed to hold properly. i will not be wasting extra money on a product with great advertising but lousy results. the regular fixodent work far better.

Love Love Love this product. I use it with the powder ans some listerine sprayed on them . Holds all day. And I can eat whatever I want .

Best product ever!

After trying many adhesives, this one is working just great for me. I am even able to eat corn on the cob.

I found the right adhesive for me.

I bought this with the hopes that it would ooze less and hold better than Poligrip. Boy, did i waste my money! Not only does it ooze until its all gone but the hold is horrible. My bottom denture comes off first following closely by my upper. The claim that it keeps food particles out is misleading as well. The only good aspect is the clean up at the end of the day. And that's because all the adhesive is gone! I will not buy this product again and can't wait for it to run out.

HORRIBLE!!!

Used other fixodent product. Sam's club now carries ultra max hold . It works but why did you make the tip so big. Canot get it in between the denture to make a nice smooth consistent strip like ai could with the others.?,

What's up? You make a good product better then screw it up. This new max hold was great initially, one application, all three meals and snacks in between, candy, nuts, it mattered not. Now it's like the regular. History repeating itself.

I have used original for years and it still holds twice as long as Max hold. When I cald the company about it the guy on the phone basically saidoh well

Not Max, but Minimal

I loved this product but unfortunately I’ve had barely a week and now I can’t squeeze anything out of the tube. I had to resort to my travel original product

Trouble with tube

First of all I want to State whoever reads this don't get discouraged buy negative comments because they're not always right and he said Works differently for everyone and more people write negative comments then they will take time out to write positive ones. I've tried every adhesive including secure and nothing worked until I tried this one. I have a complete tight hold and it's 9 p.m. and they're still held in there pretty tightly. This adhesive works amazing

Amazing hold

If I still had my purchase receipt I would be asking for a refund. I purchased a 3 pack from Sam's and have no idea of the price I paid. There is one thing I do know. The Fixodent Ultra Max Hold - SUCKS!!! The old Fixodent I previously purchased worked pretty good. You need to take this garbage off the market. I will not be making any future purchases.

Surprised to See Low Ratings

So I wear a full set of dentures and I regularly use fixodent original, once I figured out the glue ratio out that works for me my dentures were secure all day, no worries about sides popping loose. I saw this product when I went to re up my supply and thought maybe I’d give it a go.....horrible decision. It does not have max hold, Ive JD more trouble with this glue than my regular glue...and for the additional price...save your money. It’s not worth it. I would not recommend.

I thought I was upgrading but I was wrong

I've been using Fixodent for years and tried this MaxHold thinking it must be better. It was awful and in no way is the strongest of their products. It seemed like it didn't

NOT worth it!!

This product is awful

I applied it according to directions ate a m&m and automatically my teeth became loose had to apply fixodent again i spend more time reapplying it im scared to go out and eat that my teeth will become loose and food will get underneath but if i out on more than shows it works for maybe half a day if that.

Does not work

i have been using your products almost 30 yrs most time with huge satisfaction. I tried this Ultra and was never so disappointed in a product.it held in place till I drank something or ate a soft food item .very soon after I had to clean and reapply and at least three times the rest of the day. .also discovered more air in the tube and less product than your Scope cream and even your next competitor does not do that..Sorry i can not close with a thank you

thought you should know

Really horrible stuff which costs more than the regular? Does not hold all day and is hard to get out of mouth as it sticks to roof of mouth better than denture!

Very Disappointed!

Purchased the Ultra in spite of the additional expense hoping it would actually live up to its claim of all day hold. Unfortunately not the case as I find my denture loose most times before dinner and am forced to reapply to get thru the rest of the day. Needless to say for me it&#39;s not worth the additional cost.

I would like to make a recommendation about this product, I have very narrow denture plates and the opening on the tube is to large to fit into my plate therefore I get way more adhesive then is needed an opening that can be adjustable or one like is on the Fixodent scope tube would be nice I am sure I am not the only one with this problem.

Takes to long to hold.I found that the denture adhesive called Secure work amazing. Take about 10 to 15 minutes for it to hold. It is zinc free and can hold up to 2 days for me. Only place I&#39;ve found it is thru Amazon.

Don&#39;t like this product

I bought this product thinking it would work as good as the powder but boy was I wrong. It didn&#39;t even last four hrs. But other products worked and they are cheaper.

this is better than any I have tried I can drink a hot cup of coffee and not have to take them out and put them back in made a misstake and got poligrip did not hold them when I drank they would be loose does not happen with fixadent .will not make that misstake again .only thing I will use

Great Product super hold

When l remove dentures at about 8:00 at night they are stuck really good especially the top. When you put them in don&#8217;t eat for at least an hour. If this stuff don&#8217;t work for you reline your dentures because they are not fitting right.

This stuff is junk. Not even close to a full days hold. Please tell R&amp;D to fire the crew that did this.

Hold is ok, the problem is the ultra is full of zinc.

Full of Zinc

Product does hold much better than all I have tried. However, the nozzle needs to be changed. It would be great if you used the type of nozzle that is on the Fixodent Plus for it is easier to distribute the flow.
